Institute of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health (IOSEH) is leading training and research Institute on Occupational Safety and Health in Latvia. The IOSEH has more than 40 years of work experience. It is an academic, scientific and training institution. Institute provides training for undergraduates and postgraudates, participates in research projects, provides information on occupational safety and health issues. The IOSEH is a structural unit (agency) of Rīga Stradiņš University.

 

The structural parts of the IOSEH are the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Laboratory of Hygiene and Occupational Diseases. The institute closely collaborates with the Centre of Occupational and Radiological Medicine of the Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital.

 

IOSEH is administrated by it's Director - Ivars Vanadziņš, Dr.med.
